RECIPE:The Making of Lemon Pie

ingredients needed:


  1. 2 cup of flour
  2. 3 teaspoon of icing sugar
  3. 1 cup and 2 spoon of butter(cut the butter into cubes-1 cubes=1 spoon)
  4. 4 egg yolks
  5. some water
  6. 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice(squeeze out 2-3 lemon)
  7. 1 cup of sugar
*bowl 1


  • Put 2 cup of flour in a bowl
  • then,put 3 teaspoon of icing sugar
  • and put 1 cup of butter in cubes
  • mix them together
  • then,put 1 egg yolk and 2 teaspoon of cold water
  • mix them until fixed and make a round shape
  • wrap with a plastic wrap and left in the refrigerator in 30 minutes











*pie filling(lemon)

  • put 1 cup of sugar in a pan
  • add half cup of cornstarch
  • add 1 1/4 cup of water
  • then add 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice 
  • stir and heat at the medium..until it's very very fixed
  • heat off
  • add 2 spoon of butter in cubes in the pan
  • put 3 egg yolks
  • heat again..stir until fixed
  • left them cold for 2 hours






*pie crust
  • divide the pie crust you have made into 2
  • and roll them..make a big round shape
  • put a roll of it into a pie plate(you must be very carefull)
  • cut the extra pie crust on the side(cut and make it like the pie plate)
  • take a fork and pierce(cucuk in malay subtitle) the bottom of it
  • put the filling on it
  • then,put another roll
  • cut the upper roll like pizza cutting(only cut the UPPER ONE!!)
  • use fork to press down the side of the pie(to make a shape of a pie)











you can decorate like this if you don't want to use the fork






















*bake it
  • make your oven at 200 degree
  • put the pie in the oven and bake it for 40 minutes..
  • if necessary put some of aluminium foil at the side of the pie(to make the pie safe from burning)
  • after 40 minutes,put the pie outside the oven
  • cut it and READY TO EAT!!!!
